Hi everyone

I am looking for some help setting up an ADSL modem-router with a higher power output than the standard 100milliwatts. Inside the firmware of the routers that I have, it does not seem possible. I believe that it can be done with a third-party firmware - but Im not that technical, and would be happy to get someone to do it for me, or to advise how its done. If anyone has any information on how this, it would be helpful (I want to try this as a way of increasing the wireless coverage of my routers).

Thanks so much
Gary

.....wait. I'm psychic! I can answer this without knowing the make and model!
Oh no. Wait. I meant the opposite....

Can't be done, the custom firmware you are thinking of is DD-WRT or Tomato, they can only be flashed on pure wireless routers, not all in one options like a DSL modem/router.
