Help with area codes

Hi,

I'm trying to use the "Evernote with Not-so-smart Phones" service thing, and to do that I need to use the number +1 (415) 237-0012, which is apparently American. How do I use this number?

Sorry for the silly question, I just get really confused when it comes to area codes.

Calling from a fixed line, dial 00 in place of + so = 00 1 415 2370012. You do not need to drop the 'leading' 0 or other digit as you do for SA.
