Help With BFBC2 Online

Hey

I am trying to play battlefield bad company 2 online but im having some issues.

My game is updated, and iv downloaded and installed punkbuster, added BFBC2 to it, updated the agent etc.

I can get all the way to the loading screen of a game thats about to start after clicking 'play now', but as soon as it starts i get kicked.

I get a message saying "you have been kicked.....Punkbuster kicked player.........and then it says Restriction: Service Communication failurenkBstrA.exe.


Anyone know what im doing wrong??

have you checked in Task Manager if it is actually running?

also: Windows 7?

and if you trying to play online, go to MULTIPLAYER > SERVER BROWSER > FILTER BY REGION = AFRICA

thanks i managed to figure it out. I had to actually download the punkbuster service application or something like that which somehow sorted things out!

Another question : I only get access to about 6-8 servers, which generally have like 1 or 2 people in them. Is this normal? I thought the game was quite popular. Or is there a way to get access to more servers??

No its not normal. Make sure you have no boxes crossed in the server browser filter. Also make sure the region is set to Africa, you should pick up 30+ local servers. Try Logout/Login if you still have no joy.

The servers are generally busy in the afternoon/evening and get pretty busy every night.
