I'll probably be purchasing a new tv in a month or two. I don't really know much about the technical side of tvs because I've always used my eyes to Judge whether a tv is good or not.

Anyway, since I'll be purchasing mine online, what features/specifications do I need to look out for to make sure I purchase a good set?
My budget is 8k for possibly a 49" so no OLED suggestions because it's out of my budget.

Hirsch's currently have a special on a 55"UHD HDR Samsung for R8K.

Great TV for the price.

Stax has the Hisense 55" B8000 for R7499. A much better TV overall than the Samsung 55RU7100. You can see the reviews on Youtube ( search for "Hisense H8F" as thats whats its called overseas). Also comes with a 4 year warranty if im not mistaken while the Samsung has 2.

Those are both great choices, I'll look into them and make my choice. It seems like a 4k is the way to go if I'm buying anything over 49"
