Hey,

I have two questions which I'm hoping someone can answer? Here they are:

1.Give four reasons why flash disks are important.

2.In the near future keyboard input will be replaced by speech input. Name 5 advantages and disadvantages.

Windows ReadyDrive (formerly code-named “Piton”) enables Windows Vista PCs equipped with a hybrid hard drive to boot up faster, resume from hibernate in less time, and preserve battery power. Hybrid hard drives are a new type of hard disk, which integrate non-volatile flash memory with a traditional hard drive.

Or in other words, your machine may start up almost instantly.

LOL, until M$ get hold of things then its business as usual :)
My current P4 3G with all the bells and whistels, all windows facing the sea and dual overhead heatsinks, boots up slower than my old 486 of yesteryear :D

In the near future speech input will be replaced by keyboard input?

I'm already using a keyboard, omg I'm in the future!

What makes you think it will be?

Keyboard: Faster, more accurate
Speech: Requires massive processor power, requires training, impractical where noise is a problem (e.g. offices, restaurants, airports, airlines, etc).
