hi guys, i burnt a tv clip to a DVD from my LG RH7624W DVD/HDD player. The DVD player reads the disc fine and the clip can be watched on tv through that LG device. But when i put the disc in my computer's DVD drive, it doesn't read, and that DVD drive icon turns out to "CD-Drive", with 0 byte used space and 0 byte free space. The disc is a Memorex DVD-R.

Anyone know what the problem is? will be appricated with ur help. thx in advance...

If you're running Windows XP and below maybe your ASPI drivers for your DVD drive
are not installed. You'll need to go here:
http://club.cdfreaks.com/f3/forceaspi-installation-guide-101614/

Download AspiCheck and check if those drivers are installed, if they are not
proceed with the instructions as above ( http://club.cdfreaks.com/f3/forceaspi-installation-guide-101614/ ).

You can also get www.isobuster.com to view UNFINISHED discs (unfinalised ones).
You may be able to extract whatever is available to your harddrive and
then burn that with a DVD burning program like Nero or one of the free open source
ones.

thanks very much PeterCH. i downloaded IsoBuster and it sorted out the problem.
