Help with Element Ext Harddrive

Makro advertises Element 350 GB external hard drive for R799 with their opening sale in Pretoria. Has 2 years warranty.
Is this a known brand name and worth the asking price?

Not bad price (don't know the brand though). Makro's normal price is R1375-00

seems like it's a Western Digital

It's a good price. The manufacturer is known and reliable (some would argue, I wouldn't). The warranty isn't the greatest (Seagate give 5 year warrantees.)
