I have been having problems for the past 2 weeks. So I was trying to change my iPhone encryption backup password on iTunes and entered the old password but it was rejected as incorrect and ever since I have been trying to put different passwords to no avail. I have been using the same password ever since encryption was introduced and have upgraded from iPhone 3GS to 4S but now password is wrong. I don't want to lose my notes, smses and other settings should I decide to upgrade to a new iPhone later in the year. Anyone with a solution? Have tried the web but I can't get anything. And I have never changed my password before, every time I was jailbreaking my phone I'd restore the old password.
