Can someone help me with this error message please:o
Get it at least twice a day

album.php

I don't know what's causing it or a solution to it:confused:

If you're getting failures in memtest I would guess your RAM is somewhat unwell. Have you tried running with some modules removed?

Would help if you told us when this occurs, what program you are using etc....

Any web browser

how many memory modules do you have ?
1 ? 2 ?
If you have 1 : Go to step B:
If you have 2 or more: Go to step A:

First of all , set your bios to fail safe defaults , it wont help if were doing all this and the memory speeds are clocked on the mother board.

Step A:
Take all the modules out except one ,
run the test and see if the error comes up , repeat this for each module to see which one is causing it. proceed to step B

Step B :
At this stage you only have one module to work with causing the error ,
Make sure you are grounded , if you short out the memory dont call me :P
clean the contacts on the memory module with an eraser and blow away the remnants , put the memory back and re do the test,

If you still get an error then move the memory module to a different memory slot on the motherboard.
If you still get an error the memory is busted , if the error is now gone , theres a problem on that memory slot on the motherboard.

If you have more than one module and you get errors on all of them , and you tried different slots , the mother board is busted,

2 x 4GB modules
but this error appears at random times, not when doing a specific thing
Will try the above - Thanks

Is it common for the Graphics card to block the RAM Modules like this
If I have to take out the modules I have to remove the Gfx

I see you're running Axtrom memory - There's a couple of threads here about this ram....

What speed are you running your memory at ? Do you still have an issue at a lower speed ?

yup im one of the ones that complained but, the thread got deleted.
Running at standard speed 1333
Memtest86 showed errors on both modules - going to have them swapped out and take it from there

In the mean time, until you swap them out, try running them at 1066mhz.
