As the title says.
Current dimensions are 7m x 3m. Extending the space to 7m x 5.5m. Basically going to be an open block. But have been trying to split, so it has a small kitchenette, shower;toilet small basin; bedroom and then the rest of the space for a couch and tv. Perhaps a small table to eat, with say 4 chairs.
Bathroom: you need 1.2m x 1.2m for a toilet, so you can do your business. the basin can take up 1mx .5m, the shower 1m x 1 m (slide door). So i can get away with 1.2 x 2.7 (Roughly)
Kitchenette will be on the same side as the bathroom (plumbing), so effectively have 2.8m length to play with. Standard cupboards are 500/550 deep, plus doors, so i need 1.2/1.5m.
Lets average out to 1.5m total width of bathroom/kitchen. This leaves me with 5.3 (Say5m) left. 5x5.5 (27.5m2).
I cant split this down the middle, either way, other wise i would have 2 long narrow rooms. This is now my question. Do i open plan the bedroom/lounge and section with a room divider, something designer, all one does in a bedroom is sleep ().
I can't section the plumbing, so the kitchen and bathroom have to stay as is. Ideas are most welcome.
