Hi

I exedently formated my hard drive to dynamic, so i try format and delete volume no luck. So i search the net for help, i got to a page where u use hex text to edit sertion parts of it, then its basic again. I got it to basic now again, but stil cant format it in disk management.

Also tried with 98 boot usb, but its sata, so it cant detect it and its ntfs.

Any other way i can format it?

Thx

What you running Xp or Win7? I take it this is not your primary hard drive?

If its not your primary drive then
Control panel -> Computer Management -> Disk Management.
Right Click on your drive that you need fixed ... Delete Partition.

Then create new partition and format... Voila!

If it your primary drive then get a Win7 Setup disk and then delete partition from the disk management there. :D

its not primary hdd, their is no option to delete partition, just "delete volume" , but i get a error: "Windows cannot delete the active the sytem partision on the disk!"
