The Samsung has TWO Sub-woofers ?

Yeah I would take the Onkyo as well, but it seems like the budget may be an issue. If it can be stretched a bit, then definitely go for the Onkyo.

The Samsung does have two subwoofers. I'm not a big fan of these dual-woofer systems to be honest, they seem to be loud but lacking in quality, but I suppose it comes down to personal taste. I'm sure if you head down to Dion Wired then they will let you demo it. The same system is R1,300 more at Makro.

Also see that it is HDMI 1.4, which means that it will process the audio from the HDMI signal (no need for optical).

HDMI 1.3 will allow processing of audio, 1.4 is needed for 3d content.

Sorry for butting in just wanted to make sure that people know 1.4 is not a requirement for audio processing, only 3d content.
