Hi,

so my graphics card arrived today and i can't wait to go home and install it. it's a MSI n9500gt (not the best i know but i'm a beginner) i thought i would just pop it in the pci slot and install the drivers etc BUT i didnt realise i had to install the spdif internal cable as well...so please help me install it correctly !

i found the connector on the graphics card itselft so thats not the problem, i need to know were the two single plugs go....on the instruction manuel it says the orange plug goes in the SPDIF pin (were's that? on the mobo ?) and the black plug goes in the GND pin (were's that one ?)

so basically i just need to find the SPDIF and GND pins on my mobo and thats it ?!?

oh the mobo is similar (almost exact) to this one:

MSI G31M3-F V2

Thank you ATi for having it all on one card, audio and graphics.

Yeah I see your mb has 1 for a SPDIF pin so just check your manual of your motherboard where that pin is. The ground should be next to this one.

The ground(grn) pin must go onto a ground pin.

IF you can't see it in your manual take a flashlight and seach near the pins for there discription.

(I see its near the front panel pins so just check where there is a lot of wires going on the motherboard that goes to the front of your case)
