Hi,
I have a problem with someones mail that has gone missing, its quite a strange one and the only thing I can think of if is user error...
Basically, there's a period from between Feb-Oct where mail has vanished. It shows in the sent box but not the inbox. Its Outlook Express so I was thinking that maybe it was compressed or archived but I cant see any compressed/archived files... :/
Im just doing some research but in the meantime can anyone think of any other possibilities?
EDIT: I resolved it by finding the .bak file which windows keeps in the recycle bin. The backup was bigger than the current file so I re-named them and it worked....fyi
To anyone using Outlook Express, be warned that the mailbox can go corrupt if the inbox is over 200mb
