Help with MTN Datashare and Night Express Data

I have MTN Datashare activated on my contract and after running some big downloads overnight on a sim linked via Datashare I noticed the Night Express Data was not being used and the Anytime data was being flattened. The MTN call center says the Datashare can only access the Anytime data but the way I understood it was that the Datashare could access all the base data either Anytime or Night Express but not any promo data.

Is the above normal?

The T&C's link at the Datashare page is broken so I'm not sure how else to confirm this : https://www.mtn.co.za/Pages/MTNDataShare.aspx

From another thread I discovered it seems Night Express Data can't be shared via Datashare, only the Anytime data, has anyone else found that to be the case?

Correct. Same in my case. I usually deplete my night data with my primary sim by creating a mobile hotspot and connecting devices to it to download / update.
