Help with my Windows Xp machine

Hi Guys,

I have a problem with my computer when I right click on a video file the screen goes in standby mode for a second and the comes back on again.

Does anyone know what could be wrong?

I have windows xp sp2 installed and forceware drivers, i formatted my pc the other day so it has almost nothing else on it...

Do you have the necessary codecs installed? xvid, divx, etc.

i think so all the videos play fine but as soon as i try and access the properties of the file the screen will go off and on and the will display the menu dropdown for the properties...

I had the same issue a little while back. I don't know what happened but it just disappeared after a while.
