Help with Netgear DGN2200

I have a Netgear DGN2200 router. When I try connect to the router settings with Internet Explorer 9 I get an HTTP500 internal server error saying cant connect.

If I try using Safari I get a message saying : code=CANT_CONNECT_LOOPBACK] Cannot connect due to potential loopback problems please contact admin.

If I try using Firefox I have no issues and get the login page.

Just curious as I have never seen this before. I always used Explorer to get into my router.

My internet is working just fine
 
Not to worry I solved it. It was my proxy settings I had used when Telkom had downtime earlier in the week.
