Help with phpbb needed

I've tried searching, but come up empty handed. I have a phpbb forum attached to my site which is just starting to become active, but since it's in it's early days, I only have one sub-forum, "General Discussion".

What I'd like to do is open to that sub-forum automatically, rather than have people click on it every time. Anyone know if it's possible?

Could you set the forum home page from www.example.com/forum to www.example.com/forum/general (obviously not going to redirect to the right subforum though) in the ACP?
