Help with PPOE setup for my wireless

Hi
Hope someone can help me as I dont understand networking too well.
I have a sentech Ethernet Modem in my roof ( only place I can get signal) connected into an ethernet hub , everything works but now I want to add a linksys wrt54G to it so I can work wirelessly. I plugged the ethernet cable from the hub into teh wan port of the linksys and setup PPOE by utting in my user name and password, but it wont connect .

Have you had your modem up and running already, using USB?

Hi, I have the ethernet modem, and it works fine, its just when I unplug the ethernet and put it into the WAN port of the Linksys 54G, it wont connect.
I set up PPOE , and put in the user name and password, but it wont connect, the Linksys says its not getting an IP adress from the modem?

I dont use a reouter,but I remember someone posts has problems connecting through some Linksys reouter.

you might want to do a search in the old posts, a solution or guide might lay there.
