Help with PSP stuff

I am runnin the latest one,but like i said use that one 0.46 devhook to get use to it.After about a week then,if you want flash devook 5.2 to your psp,and if this is still not enough,then i suggest ,you flash a custom fiemware,You have a ta 082 psp,so be very carefull when you flash your psp with custom firmware,like 303 271 or 310,There is a greater risk with a ta board,but its only like 15 pecent chance of bricking,but there is a way to unbrivk it if all went wrong.But remember you are good with pcs so there is no prob there. cheers
 
install 3.03 OE-C

use the easy upgrader available from www.psp-hacks.com

install from 1.5 to 3.03 OE-C in like 5 minutes. no sweat and VERY little chance of bricking unless ure an idoit who takes out the battery and power cable to see if the usb really can power the psp by its self!
 
Using SNES9X TYL 0.4 on 3.03 OE-C but the games are jerky, any help on this ? dont tell me the psp not powerfull enough.
 
try overclocking the psp in the recovery menu, its very safe, i keep mine running at 300mhz all the time.

and its not because the psp is not powerful enough, you have seen some amazing graphics with some psp games im sure, its the program thats written, its not done by paid professionals at sony, so its buggy.
 
Which is the latest roms? GMA, MAME32, SNES? Graphics wise and that has been release in the 21st century ?

any one using pspdev,for programming.I am trying to program an eboot but it seems to freese in emulation mode.never used this enviroment before ,so its all new to me
 
omg, switch the psp off using the power button and keeping it in for about 5 seconds. the lights should blink then stop and your psp is now switched off and not in sleep mode which it is when you just press up the power button quickly.

then hold down the R button and quickly press up the power button.

Hi Guys, I am getting a PSP soon. It is second hand, apparantly really good condition but 3 dead pixels. I dont really mind, I am sure I wont see the dead pixels, but in case they are "stuck" as you call it, when I get it, what is the program I run to get rid of them?

Also I just bought a genuine Sony Duo Pro 2Gb Mem stick for R195 (incl shipping) off ebay. 10 days to get here :) and the guy has over 5000 transactions with a 99% rating.

Any advice on the PSP?
 
there is a dead pixel fixer video that you run ,It flashes the screen different colours in a loop.The success rate is not very comforting,but give it a try and see,Let it run the whole night on the psp,Ofcouse you must turn of all settings ,avoiding the psp to go into sleep mode.I willpost the link for you to download the mp4 video
