What I want to do is limit the bandwidth that goes between the different PC's.

I want to basically give each PC a set amount of bandwidth while still having full speed access to the local network.

For example if six people were downloading with the 384 line each one of them would get 64Kbits/s and when nobody is downloading the one person would get the full line speed. So basically something that evenly distributes the bandwidth between PC's depending on the amount being downloaded. :erm:

I have experimented a bit and for some reason I can't do this at all. I can limit the network easily and give each person that but then copying from one pc to the other is very slow. I hope I have explained this properly.

I have the Telkom Mega 100WR. Any help would really be appreciated.

Did you get a job with Cisco?

Cisco is great and all but it's not the alpha & omega. Junos actually kicks IOS butt, unfortunately in this country we all worship the like of MS & other big companies.

NO :D

I am trying to see if I can raise ANYONE from Cisco -- they seem to be VERY scarce on these forums. :)

You there Cisco's Mr Steve Midgely

PS; Where can I get Juniper as cheaply -- in THIS -- country -- as I can get Cisco.

WHERE are their offices

Juniper does not feature in the small end of the market, they do not have products like the Cisco 800 series etc, mostly higher end stuff.

Juniper is sold by several different local companies, they do not have a corporate presence in this country last time I checked.
