Help with router settings

Hi all

I recently made a post where someone pointed out that my traffic was being router overseas. The problem went away after Telkom moved me to a new DSLAM as I had congestion problems before that.

Today I turned off my modem for 10 minutes and when I turned it back on, the problem is back. When I do a tracert the first hop is not my router and when I look at the default gateway in cmd there is a strange string of numbers before it shows the router IP.

After more digging around in device manager I found a bunch of VPN's installed ( no idea how - i'm the only one using the PC? )

Id start by deleting all LAN connections and leave only your main one.

Yeah deleted a whole bunch in device manager, did the trick.

Ok good you sorted it out, was about to point out you are connected to some vpn. Did you figure out where it came from?
