I noticed telkom has pushed my line speed up without my knowledge from 4mbit to now syncing at 7004 up and 640 down. What's the deal here? Was this a planned thing because nobody said anything to me.

Anyway, how do these stats look for this speed? It's been a while since I looked at any of this stuff and it's all looking a little greek to me.

Connection Status Connected
Us Rate (Kbps) 640
Ds Rate (Kbps) 7004
US Margin 22
DS Margin 2147483647
Trained Modulation ADSL_2plus
LOS Errors 1
DS Line Attenuation 40
US Line Attenuation 22
Peak Cell Rate 1509 cells per sec
CRC Rx Fast 271119
CRC Tx Fast 83
CRC Rx Interleaved 0
CRC Tx Interleaved 0
Path Mode Fast Path

Is this ok or do I need to get them to drop it back? Input appreciated.

That's super OK some of us are still stuck on a 1Mb line.

Thanks. Yeah, don't get me wrong, I'm stoked about the speed increase. Faster is just about always a good thing though, isn't it? Unless it comes to sexual endurance of course. :p

Just a little concerned about stability now and that "LOS Errors 1" has me a bit worried. Having said that, all seems well so far.
