Help with setting up ISP...

I log onto an IP address 10.0.0.2 to connect to my router (router with Telkom WR100). When I enter my ISP that is not with Telkom and connect, the resulting page shows that there is a connection to the internet, but when I try to go to google (or any other site) nothing happens. Please help.

Does it say attempting to connecting or something like that on the routers status screen?

Anyways... Phone Telkom and tell them to do an ADSL port reset on the DSLAM. That should sort out the prob.

Also make sure that you verify your adsl.

Sounds like a self install and you have not had it verified. 0800 375 375 and get it verified, it will authenticate but that is it, it will not let you browse untill this has happened

Phone Telkom and tell them to do an ADSL port reset on the DSLAM. That normaaly sorts out the problem.
