Help with some pc specs

hi i am currently looking to buy a decent pc,this is what i came up with so far

Asus P5Q IP45 Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3GHz 6MB 1333Mhz FSB LGA775 Processor
KingMax DDR2-800 2GB Memory Module
Seagate 500GB Barracuda SATA300 32MB 7200RPM Hard Drive
Sapphire Radeon HD4870 16xPCIE 256-bit 512MB DDR5 w/HDTV + 2DVI
that all comes to around R8500,i am thinking around that price in about 2 months,any suggestions???
 
No one knows what the prices will be like then, though that is a decent machine. Just make sure you get a decent psu with it.

p.s. get 2 * 2 gig's of ram for dual channel
 
No doubt the price will increase as will everything. But the system looks good. I'm also thinking of getting a similar system.Hopefully when Intel release the E8600 CPU the price of the E8400 will drop

Looks pretty good. If your gaming the Hd48XX is the way to go, if not rather go with a cheaper card. Good luck with your PC! :)

Mmmm (and this excludes the hard drives, case & more importantly the monitor) well all I can say is that u have a mighty fine system Deadl1y :) well done. I wish I can get a system like urs the next time I just need something to work on ;)
