Hi guys.

So just been to Telkom and they refuse to give me just an adsl line. They said I have to pay for adsl as well as my telephone. But I don't want a telephone, I want just the adsl line. It is now expected for me to pay 152 + the telephone line. How do I just get the adsl line so I only pay 152 a month???

Thank you

dude it has always been that way, pay up or no ADSL for you.

I know they are trying to unbundle it but that fight will go on forever and they claim that unbundling it wont drop the price by much if at all :/

what is the difference, you will still end up paying for something you can't use :D

Well what you guys recommend? 8ta? problem is i really dont wanna be bound by a 24month contract. Cause some other company will release some crazy deal, 1tb of data for 5c, then i kick meself in the arse...

rofl dude 1tb of data for 5c :/

either get the ADSL and pay for the line you don't use, many people do, i myself do.

or get prepaid or post paid 3g. if you go this route do yourself a favour and lend a friends modem or buy a prepaid sim etc and test yourself in your area

Check if they still have the free off peak call option. Don't forget to choose self install if possible.
