Hi guys,

I registered just so I could ask for some help. My Motorola V360v keeps resetting 2-3 times a day. It basically turns itself off and back on, without asking for the SIM PIN number. I tried to do a software update on the phone but it's out of warranty, so Motorola won't bother. Could someone please explain how I go about finding (Google has come up only with ancient links that no longer work) that firmware file and flashing my phone? I'm really getting sick of this constant resetting and some features of the phone not working (thanks to Vodafone's poor coding skills). Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I don't know where else to put it.

Regards

I'm sorry to have to tell you this but it's not worth going through the trouble. Rather buy yourself another phone (and please don't buy a Motorola, they suck and their phones too:D), like a Sony Ericsson or something.

If you really have to get it repaired it's going to be no use sending it to Motorola because the phone is so old. You're going to have to find a cellphone shop somewhere next to the road or at a flea market that is willing to repair it. About the firmware update, as far as I know you need a service cable to flash a Motorola phone's firmware, which is going to cost more than the phone itself.

GET A NEW PHONE in other words:D

Go to Checkers, buy a black refuse bag, place the phone in the bag, and wait for the blue truck.
