Help with Wireless card

Hi guys

I have decided to upgrade my 3945ABG to Intel 4965AGN, but my XPS M1730 does not want to install the driver properly. I have Win 7 Ultimate 64bit installed on my lappy. In device status it says The device cannot start (Code 10). I have tried various drivers, but to no avail. It shows a yellow exclamamtion mark in Device Manager.

Anyone knows how to fix it.

Yes, make sure your laptop officially supports that wireless card.

Most laptops block the wireless during POST if it is not officially supported. My guess is it has to do with the power down functionality (eg. turning off the wireless adapter) and antennas used by the laptop.
