Hi all.

I have one of those frustrating problems that has cropped up for no reason that I can see. Our set up is this: We have the main HD pvr in the lounge. I have the Xtraview decoder in my office. But I have also run a cable from the RF OUT port on the decoder through to a tv in the kids' playroom. So the wife and I can watch tv in the lounge, and if the kids want to watch in the playroom I can put on CBeebies or something on in my office and it will play on their tv.

But then yesterday, for some reason, the kids tv stopped picking up the feed from the Xtraview in my office and now only picks up the feed from the main tv. I've tried tuning the kids' tv but it just won't pick up the channel feed from the Xtraview and only plays from the main tv.

Are there any settings that might have reset (perhaps with a DSD upgrade or something) that might have caused this? As far as I can see it shouldn't be doing this. It's literally a co-axial cable from the RF OUT port directly into the old fashioned aerial receiver at the back of the kids tv. (Oh, I have reversed the RF OUT and RIF IN settings for the Xtra view. So the main TV is RF OUT, and the Xtraview is RF IN. I did this so I could run the cable from the RF OUT on the second decoder into the kids tv.

have you tested the RFOUT on your second decoder directly on the TV in the office?
If it doesnt work then maybe the uhf transmitter somehow blew, you need a new decoder if it does work then you may have to consider running a new cable to the kids room.

Also check the UHF frequency on both decoders is different and far apart , maybe the kids were fiddling and messed it up?
