Hi all

I recently got adsl set up at home so i am not to clued up on it!
I would like to know how to check my usage cap?Any ideas

I got home dsl 192 with 3GB cap, what down speeds is this likely to get?, i am only getting +- 25KB/s(its not bad considering i am used to dail up)

Who is you ISP? If its telkom have a look here on the useage page - otherwise you might want to check with your ISP.

Would think ±25KB/s is pretty decent for 192 line but ther math boffins will have a better idea.

192kbits / 8 bits_per_byte= 24Kbytes

Ergo, you're getting the speed you should be getting.
