HELP!!

need help with minor problem,

My dstv remote doesnt want to work on my dstv decoder, it used to work fine... but now whenever i press a button on the remote, i notice an orange light goes on, on the decoder and nothing else happens, cant change channels, or change the volume levels. the only way to change channels is by pressing the button on the decoder itself,

problem only occured after plugging in my ps3, surely it couldnt be that.

how do i fix this??

I had a same problem with my Sony LCD tv, had to disable the light sensor to get the DSTV remote working. Tried to report it to MC, however they have a bunch of morons working at their call centre, who tried to explain to me how to set the tv1 and tv2 on the remote.

Any way I cannot give you a direct answer, you might have to play around with settings, which was the only way I determined the cause.....

I too have a sony bravia lcd tv, how did u manage to disable the light sensor? i even tried resetting everything and still nothing, The dstv has very few settings that can be changed, so thats useless.

Menu>>Settings>>Set-up>>Light Sensor.....turn it to off
