helpdesk software

Hi All,

I am looking for a commercial helpdesk system with basic functionality - doesnt need bellls and whistles, just needs to work well and not cost a fortune like some of the entreprise systems available such as Remedy and Service desk from Landesk.

Anyone know of a system that works well and dont break the bank at the same time?

We used AmberCat which was very good. Can run with a front end app or web based.
