they will not respond.

I really feel sorry for the i-burst subscribers who dont know about this forum. those poor guys probably wonder if i-burst is still in business.

your best bet is to post a thread here and hope someone like r00igev@@r responds. they don't answer calls in under 30 minutes, you invariably end up in the wrong department, the right guys don't know how to help when you do get through, or they simply don't do what they promised they would.

and as for emails, well, you might as well write those off to getting lost somewhere on the iburst network. i think emails go to the same place as iburst bandwidth does to die. everyone acknowledges that it probably did exist, but no-one can tell you what or where it is...

So Jannie was right after all. I'm impressed!

Van Zyl predicted that quality of service will become an issue with the cheap ADSL offerings in the near future, adding that consumers may approach ICASA in future not because of price, but because of poor service levels and slow speeds./QUOTE]

The feedback is that more resources have been allocated to deal with clearing the backlog on the email support account. Apologies for any inconvenience.

no offence Ronald, but this is an old excuse.

This comment is not appropriate, even if it is submitted tongue-in-cheek, which I doubt?

Ronald, maybe it is a bit below the belt........ but be honest. Put yourself in the consumer's shoes. The staff are useless. I think what Iburst should do is fire them all and just let the phone ring. The savings can be put into giving the old month to month subscribers their throttle service back (which they were screwed out of in the first place).

Normal social protocol does not justify referring to fellow humans as animals. It reflects poorly on the character of those making the statement and of those defending it. As Forrest Gump says: "Stupid is as stupid does."
