Hereos Thread (Spoiler Alert)

Don't know if Sylar eats the brains. But he has to kill people to get there powers making him a baddie! Maya has a power to knock people unconscious (not kill, maybe...) as seen that others in prison woke up. But the brother has the power to make life, maybe sort of a yin yang thing. Or maybe she takes the soul (black stuff out of the eyes) This should be cleared up in the next few episodes.
I don't like this waiting a week for the next episode, when i watched season 1 had had them all together to watched it one after the other. :)
btw Peters power is the best power to have! Seeing that he can also use more than 1 power at a time!

In the episode when you first see Molly, she says that the Boogyman (Sylar) eats the brains.
Maya does kill them. But Alejandro brings them back to life, by somehow absorbing the black stuffs from them, it clearly goes into him.
But they are running coz they killed people (well, she did) . "Homicido" on the posters probably means "Homicide". lol

Yea. I also had the first season up until about 15. Then watched the updates every 2 weeks or so. Sucks waiting.

But heroes producers say that they purposely left it ambiguous, in order to try keep away from the cannibalistic side. Rather letting the viewers decide how he "gets" the power

I think the scene with Molly is the only time you hear (or see) any link to Sylar actually eating the brain

ye, matt heard molly hiding in the cupboard talking about the boogeyman at one of his first investigations when he was a still a streetcop. thats why she's living with him now too.

Sylar stole the ability from the old ballie who came to visit him who could move and stop inanimate objects with his mind. so in essence " freeze " objects just like he froze hiro's blade when he tried to cut him in isaac mendez's loft the one day.

You forgot about eden who lived opposite suresh's father, who had the ability to persuade others using her voice.

The shapeshifter they refer to is the chick who worked for linderman who used mind control to change someone's perspective as well as her appearance (like she did to micah in the hotel).

That's what's so weird, because it seems the girl in s2e3 had the same powers ... but then again, we see takezo kensei also having regen powers, and claire's new boyfriend also has the power of flight. So it seems more and more mutual powers are surfacing.

The maya / alejandro thing seems a bit lame, but there again ... alejandro seems to have the power to cure people dramatically. Lindermann had a similar power which he used to make Nathan petrelli's wife walk again.

Another common power seems to be shared between the invisible man who taught peter how to harnass his powers and the phantom who killed hiro's father & attacked peter's mother.

Hiro's dad saw the guy before he killed him, so he couldn't have been invisible.

whoa... sylar. must have some evil in you there, IJ..

I am Hiro Nakamura. And he is my favourite character :D :d

Hiro's dad saw the guy before he killed him, so he couldn't have been invisible.

Yeh, only at the very last bit, not sure if ando saw the killer though as he walked in to bring the sword... if i was a super evil villain and wanted to kill someone, i would also let them see me at the last bit. But yeh, you make a good point, not sure what's up.

So what ever happened to Claire's mom, the lady that brews fire?

And why doesnt sylar ever use his power of persuasion which he got from Eden?

One more thing, Sylar got his spotless memory from the sweet waitress that learnt japanese... Peter Petrelli came in contact with sylar, and should've absorbed this power too, except now he's stuck with memory loss. Swak.

He could stop people like Hiro could.

Not entirely.

Hiro has the capability to stop time completely, including anything relevant to that time, so everything around him freezes.

Sylar has the ability to control the movement of an object, so yes he can also "freeze" someone, but time continues - as does everything else around him.

ugh ... why the crap did they have to go and bring Veronica Mars into the equation ... that's just lame :/

It was cool having so few recognizable actors in the series, i.e. Nicky (final destination) and Peter (dirty deeds) ... series normally work better with unknown actors in it.

I hope this doesnt make it über lame now :/

Veronica Mars is super cool :D Go Tim Kring

OK - so I watched the episode last night.

Who is the super evil person that the "track & trace" little girl referred to?

Apparently this super evil person >> Sylar.

erm thats the guys father..the nightmare man...

but hes no longer a threat which is kinda lame..

sylar is still such a bad ass...

Adam (Takezo Kensei) is the baddie. But, someone is gonna menor Sylar, so that he can get his powers back. Speculation is that it is Adam.

Adam can regenerate (Like Claire, as we saw with Kensei), but he can also, apparently, control insects or nature, or something...

Gonna get interesting :D
