Hereos Thread (Spoiler Alert)

I wonder who the 2 are that are going to die in the next episode. Any guesses?

Hopefully Maya and Nikki. Sorry feo :)

Don't think nikki is going to die ( altho we'll have to see if the cure works )
Maya i hope she does, takes a strangers side over her own bloody brother and look how he ended up...

Want to see what happens between peter and hiro cos not a damn that sword is going to get ne where near peter's body... also wrt peter's powers... it seems that he isnt affected by hiro's time stop so i wonder ( if syla gets maya's powers ) if peter is immune to maya aswell?

They also dont tell us how peter survived and came back with all those powers.

How he survived what? The blast? You see him healin himself...

Maya wont die (Congrats FEO) as she is a baddie now. They seemed to focus on the Helix of Hiro's sword. So maybe it finally is going to mean something and prevent those2from dying each other.

I'm guessing, ICY, that you read a spoiler somewhere that 2 people were going to die. My guess actually might be Nikki, I think the cure wont work and that might be the reason that the Virus gets out (ie: it turns contagious)

I am also interested in seeing it. Hiro has no chance against Peter but I don't think Peter will kill him.

Hiro can stop time, but so can Peter so thats why Peter isn't frozen when Hiro stops time around him.

Actually I watched the preview of next weeks episode:

So now they call the next episode a finale, but its actually just the mid-season finale (i.e. there are another 12 episodes from February onwards)? But in SA it just runs from beginning to end, with no break.

Or are they proposing an 11 episode series???

Unfortunately, this is because of the writers strike. Reshot this ep so that it could be the finale, because of no scripts :(

:( Goes to corner and sulks. Stoopid writers... *Cries a bit*

Yeah it is annoying.

Apparently season 3 is only scheduled for next year september on top of it. Really annoying.

Next week's episode could be the last Heroes all together.

In other strike-related news, in case you hadn’t heard, TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello reported that NBC’s hit series, Heroes could be shutting down season 2 early. Ausiello’s sources confirmed that an alternate ending for the December 3rd pre-holiday-hiatus episode is being produced. Initially, the episode was meant to close out the “Generations” arc but due to strike stopping production on new episodes, the alternate ending could be used to tie up the season completely.

In the meantime, good news for Heroes fans: I bumped into Kring as he beelined to his car after the event, and he told me that even though there are only two episodes left, the last episode written before the strike (number 11) is "very much like a finale. Some huge stuff happens. You just wait."

 :(

Strike News: An Ending, Not End, For ‘Heroes’

By Brian Stelter
Greg Grunberg plays Matt Parkman, a character on NBC’s “Heroes.” The last new episode of the NBC drama will be shown on Dec. 3.

The writers’ strike appears to have prompted NBC to promote the last original episode of “Heroes” as a mid-season finale.

There are “three episodes left” of the super-hero drama, NBC commercials have intoned for the past several days. New episodes will be shown for the next three Mondays, culminating on Dec. 3 with the last episode that was completed prior to the strike.

For “Heroes,” the timing is appropriate, because the first eleven episodes of the fall season were designed as a “volume,” somewhat like a comic book. Season one, from Sept. 2006 to May 2007, was counted as volume one and titled “Genesis.” The second volume, called “Generations,” premiered on Sept. 24 and will conclude on Dec. 3.

Because of the strike, shooting has yet to begin on the third volume, called “Exodus.”

Earlier this month Jeph Loeb, the co-executive producer of “Heroes,” told MTV.com that the strike came at an opportune time.

It ends “in a very satisfying way,” he said. “We wouldn’t be happy if we had to end early, the fans wouldn’t be happy, but in terms of continuity, or story line, we’re pretty much tied up.”

Lemons, lemonade???

So we will find out shortly if this is going to be the last episode. As far as I know, it is shot as a "ending", but if the writers strike ends, then they will just start again in Jan, as they planned originally

Nobody wanna discuss the SEASON FINALE? Apparently this is the last in the season, not exactly sure what's going on with the Guild strike and all that.

Brilliant episode though, and as usual...yay for Maya, you little hottie. :D

Well at the end it says end of Volume 2, so I guess we're going to have to wait until September for the next season. Fscking writers

Or hopefully these dumbasses come to an agreement and we can have two volumes this season when the other shows resume in January.
