Herotel's many empty promises

Herotel promised us fibre access back in 2021, it is now nearing the end of 2022 and Herotel was a no show. They make big promises to get us to sign up, but never really committed to service our area.

Today I started to pack because Herotel was a no show and I rather not rent in an area that is reliant on Herotel. Not only that, but we have suffered many disappointments. None of the LTE providers provide proper access, this includes Telkom, Cell C and MTN. None of them can be bothered.

Telkom does offer an ADSL service, but it is essentially useless. They send out multiple technicians to service our area, but nothing they did worked.

So I concluded that yes, I live in a beautiful, peaceful area, but I cannot communicate with family, nor can I access any streaming services.

Herotel has been pretty good for me. I wonder if we are in the same area as they also promised rollout last year, but our municipality stopped them after they had already laid most of their cables as the approval was apparently signed off by the wrong official They finally got approval this year and I've been using them for a few months without any issues.

Herotel has been pretty good for me. Herotel is rather small compared to most providers, so it might well be the case that we live in the same area or used to live. I am moving, I can no longer wait for Herotel to show up. It has been too long and Telkom's service is useless and Telkom as a company should be ashamed to even charge customers for their incompetent and worthless service.
