So it was a happy morning while i was waiting for WoW to download its Non-critical Updates when my AVG pops up saying that theres Malware in the Blizzard Downloader so since i like to be safe so i say remove malware and it removes the entire game so now im screwed because i try to reinstall (luckily i have another PC that has the Patches on it :D) so after i install Vanilla WoW it says that a desktop icon could not be made and i just thought ok?and when i start to install Burning Crusade it stops at 99% and says sorry the Installer has failed:confused:

So if my game is corrupt what must i do?

so i seems that i won't be able to install and play must i try and find the folders for WoW and get rid of them and then install help please :(

No better time than the present for a nice format and clean windows, wow, other essentials install ;)

yea AVG did the exact same thing to me on Thursday.
I formatted my hdd , reinstalled windows and downloaded wow from scratch because i suspected a key logger.... it seems to be working fine
But one random thing was that wile the patch was downloading i launched the game and the background had a animated deathwing that was moving around and ****, similar to the login screen on Wotlk but once the install was finished and i relaunched the game the background of the login screen is now just a still image of deathwing , anyone know why this is?
