Hi all
I have a slight problem and I bringing it down that it needs a driver correct me if I am wrong.
I have a point of sale barcode scanner and when I plug it in, the light works and beeps when I go over a barcode but it is not sending information to the computer.
It is a hhp it3800 and I looked on driverguide and according to them it is USB which mine is not it is PS2.
Is there some kind of driver that I need for it to operate in windows.
I am using windows vista business. Have another barcode scanner that is USB and that is just plain old plug and play. it picks it up and works but the new one that we got is better it has better precession than the cheap one.
We bought it in one of the bargan bins at our suppliers and we thought it would also just be plug and play.
Any assistance to get the POS scanner working would be wonderful.
