Hi ppl

I needed some help

I am looking in getting a after markets light Kit

But should i send the extra and get the LED kit or the cheaper HID kits

Please help :confused::confused:

If you going to put an hid or Led kit in halogen housing is a no no. Try sourcing Morimoto H1 projectors

Nah, you can. Lot's guys running like that without issues. Just keep the ballast outside the housing.

For the driver maybe.... for everyone he has to share the road with it's not just an annoyance, but a danger as well.
I hope all of these selfish *******s crash into a tree.

He's talking about the light scattering from the reflector lamp. Rather than from a projector light as required by the HID

My car has factory xenons without projectors.

Single bulb applications like the H7- reflector housing (had some of these on my Civic)

For stuff like H4 or dual filament bulbs, stay away... Star far away...

My brother in law put led in some ancient escort. worked a treat and cheaper and easier to install than hid.

What is wrong with your government approved factory engineered lighting as already fitted to the vehicle?

Dunno. I guess it's like on the bike. I have aftermarket lights fitted so the bastards can see me.

Extras or aftermarket?

I've found OEM style replacements in most cases do 99% as much for your visibility as all these fancy aftermarket retrofit things.

Osram Nightbreaker Plus etc.

But you'll only find me fitting those if the originals popped.

There's way more focus on looking cool than actual safety.
