High-end graphics cards: Bigger means better

The high-end GPU market is a tough place to be, but it's the gamers who benefit most.

Personally I have more confidence in the buy medium (or medium-high even), buy frequent strategy - but to each his own.

Buying top of the range means cutting edge...bleeding edge even - this comes at a cost. Blood is never free...

I normally go for one/two below the top level and replace every 2nd generation. Sell the old card for about 50% of it's original price then.

same here and normally it value for money. example i had GTX460 and upgraded last year to gtx670 = 4.5k i think it worth it. to me 680 or higher is a bit overkill. 670 has great performance. 680 is also 7k = 2.5k more for maybe 6FPS more? meh ill OC a bit if needed

That's why you try get it for a good deal I sold my GTX 560 for 2k and then paid in 3.5k to get my GTX 680
