High latency to local servers during the night

Good day,

I stay in Port Elizabeth. I have Telkom Uncapped LTE and have been having this problem with high latency to local servers during the night lately. Normally between 18:30 to 22:00 every night. It seems fine and stable to EU servers though. Is there a problem with the connection from Port Elizabeth? Its been like this for the past 3 weeks now. I play a lot of Dota and this affects me in a bad way. Just want to know if anyone is having the same problem and if there is a solution. What seems strange is when i connect my phone via hotspot my ping is fine. I normally get between 50-60 ping on local servers. And when the ping climb starts it goes between 110 & 130. What also bothers me is that my friend that stays like 15km away from me has the same problem and he is on ADSL.

It happens to me as well (Pretoria) and to my brother (Potchefstroom). At exactly those hours.

Exactly the same happens to me (CT) and a friend (EL). I'm gonna say everyone has it. Makes Cell C viable again and I swore not to go back to that packet-loss based provider.

Started happening yesterday at around 4PM. I created a mobile hotspot from my mtn phone and my ping was a stable <30 the entire night. No packet loss.
