High number of errors received?

In the neoconnect status information under the general tab i seem to be getting a very high number of errors. On my last connection before disconnecting and reconnecting i had 1447 errors under received (i was connected for approximately 4 hrs and downloaded about 300 megs).

Would you guys say this is common for internet in general, common for neotel or not common at all?
 
I've been connected for 2h50min, have downloaded approx. 1.6GB and only had 117 receive errors. I don't normally monitor my error rate so I can't tell you if this is normal or not, but I'll check every couple of hours or so and post again if things change.

I did have some network disruption last night, maybe today is your tower's turn.
 
I too have been having connection/disconnection/no data-transfer/intermittency problems over the last few days, I of course call into the call-centre each time to alleviate previously my built up telkom frustrations but seems to be getting better day by day.

I think the errors occuring are linked to signal strength, when the signal is on 1,2 or 3 bars I do notice more errors on the connection tab, I have still been juggling the device around my home and at current only get max 3 bars signal strength whereas a week earlier I was on 4 bars and speeds were very satisfactory, I hope Neotel sorts out coverage problems soon which in turn will fix up connectivity/data-transfer problems.

I have been connected almost 6 hours on 3 bars and only received 1 error (Received) and downloaded 210 megs.
