High Ping & Latency

When trying to play Fortnite, we always have a very high Ping of 250-350.
Is there any recommendations on how to reduce this?
Playing on PS4
 
1. Get fibre
2. Move closer to where the servers are

Hi,

It depends what server you are connecting to, Middle East should be around 120ms, Europe around 160ms to 175ms. At 250 to 300ms it feels like you are going to Oceania or NA-East. Please check your settings in Fortnite and let us know. Also, let us know if this is 4G or 5G?

We check servers all the time and the majority of times we are connecting to Middle East or Auto-whichever has the lowest.
This is for 5G and there is normally no other devices connected when online

It has been deprioritised to accommodate a whole slew of other things that need your bandwidth pronto.
