So I believe no problems with computer and router/ethernet card set-up.

I played some Day of Defeat (HalfLife mod) and got a sick ping of 69
which is really bad when i used to get 12 - 30 it seems am been hacked or something please help.

Telkom have re-routed traffic :(

I used to get 25-35 ping to my favourite games server,
now no less than 80.

I used to get pushed straight onto the rosebank exchange in pretoria, now my traffic is routed via -> durban -> cape town -> johannesburg.

I'm in the port elizabeth area.

Try send email to [email protected]

but it hasn't worked for me, maybe if more people complain it will help.

donaldpe, seems like even the "<font color="blue"><i>Port</i></font id="blue">" in <i><font color="blue">Port</font id="blue"></i> Elizabeth get "shaped". It show how far Telkom will go with their "<font color="blue"><i>port</i></font id="blue">" prioritisation [:o)]

They say it reliefs stress to laugh, so I have to see the funny side of things too.

Its seems lots of exchanges have been rerouted to CPT [:(!] and that this has been a bad move @ telkom . It took me 4 hrs of bitching and moaning to get them to change it back to rosebank this sunday [:p] Please call 0800222772 they could help i hope [:)]
