I have recently gotten my ADSL, and everything was set up correctly, filters and all, but then the DSL wouldn't sync unless a phone was plugged in and off the hook. I know it's caused by a high resistance fault and it has been reported to telkom. What can I do to temporarily fix this until Telkom pitch up? Currently I'm spamming the toll free telkom line to stay on the internet for as long as the que is. What else could I try?
