High Spec Gaming Computer - this is a bit much isn't it?

I can build an i7 920 , 4GB DDR 1333, 1TB HD, a HD 4870, 22" LCD and a top of the range asus X58 motherboard for R20K

Rip-off, especially seeing as it's second hand!

That is still expensive

I could get the same thing from PC zone (www.zones.co.za) for about R12k. I got an AMD PC from there that runs all the new games on full graphics with no lag for R6000 (excludes monitor.)

Man.....the other day this guy on Gumtree was trying to sell a plan HIS 4850 for R3500. I told him it was too much and he mailed back saying that he was just hoping some 'sucker' would fall for it. That really gets my back up.

People will pay anything if it says "gaming" so they can go brag at their friends. But nothing is more embarrasing than someone desperately trying to be "elite" being clearly ripped off with hardware

R2500?

Wow, I was under the impression I wouldn't get more than R1000 ;) Perhaps I should advertise and see what I get!
