besides the fact that this is tragic I am sure the headline as on www.24.co.za is incorrect "Hijackers shoot dead cop" As I am reading it it sounds if they shot an allready dead cop ? Shouldn't the headline not be more like the one I used ?

Oh yes, it does.

However they're not the only media service that seems to be downgrading,
all over the web, amateur third rate so called journalism is thriving.

I'm becoming picky, sifting through mounds of trash is no longer viable, for local news I rely on forum news posters (who surf on my behalf hehehe), and if I'm interested I go looking for the root. (root source)

Shame man, our policemen don't have it easy, it really is time for a radical approach to criminals. My condolences to his family.
