Hijackings

Damn, this is so f...ed up.
So sorry to hear dablakmark8 and I wish you and the family strength to get through this.

We need the death sentence, and a strong functional police force and justice system.
Maybe through some luck the perps will be caught and sentenced to rot away in jail.
I hope they get their dues in whatever form that may take.

I hate stupid racists who call others animal names. The real truth is we are the animals. The opportunistic watch as we enter and leave our homes to go to work or do our daily tasks like we are animals in a zoo. They watch us ready to rob us, mug or mow us down when opportunity knocks, they need a few thousand rand or they just feel like it. Repercussions even if caught to them are minimal. There is no stigma to them for committing crimes.

.
Death sentence is a deterrent. But we know the current government will never allow a referendum. They can't as they are complicit to our current situation.

It isn't a deterrent because the savages who do such crimes know they will not get caught. I rather view it as permanent waste disposal. The issue is the justice system isn't perfect and mistakes can and do happen (look at the Oscar Pistorius debacle). If we had a justice system incapable of error, I would be the biggest advocate for the death penalty.

Agree. If criminals were getting caught and convicted and we still had high crime rates there may be a case for reviewing the punishments or reform processes.

Another one on Friday

Gordon Patterson (a well known & widely respected media strategist) ‪#‎killed‬ in a ‪#‎shooting‬ last night.

He was held up last night at ‪#‎gunpoint‬ in an attempted ‪#‎highjacking‬

He fights back & gets the upper hand before being shot in cold-blood by demonic savages. He later died.

‪#‎SouthAfricans‬ need to wake up & realize that there is a war going on & it is time to fight back. Start thinking out of the box.

Yes this man lost his life, & that is tragic, however who is to say that these barbaric animals would not have killed him anyway?

Practice situational awareness & be prepared. Watch this video & ask yourself how you would react if this happened to you.

Do you watch your rearview mirror until your gates close? Would you see them coming through the closing gates? Do you keep your engine running until the gates are closed?

Best option if this happens is to put the vehicle into reverse & put your foot flat on the accelerator which will cause the vehicle to smash through the gates.

and it was caught on video

apparently my son must be 12 years old to leave the country permanently,This is the legal way(if his mother contest).wtf

It's a shŃ–t situation. It's really not fair. But, and you know this, making big decisions like this while grieving isn't the best idea.

So sad. what a lovely women she was.
Condolences and keep faith.

These bastids find life cheap as they have no concept of family and being loved. It's the culture of their upbringing. Savage animals are not taught as children what is right and wrong. Parents don't discipline their ill behavior and tacitly encourage brutality. It's a sick country we live in

Yeesh, sorry for the loss dude, that's awful :(
Utter senselessness in their savagery ......

If all works out melbourne.I have family there lots of them

Definitely worth it. I moved to Melbourne a little over 4 months ago. Exactly like SA, sometimes I have to remind myself I'm not actually in SA as I zone out when I drive. Enjoying public transport that is safe and reliable and the fact that no one has even given me a funny look and are always willing to help has been great. I also don't live like a caged animal and from time to time when I leave my window open my stuff is all still there when I get home. House that I'm in doesn't even have a fence.

I can tell you without a doubt the stress that is lifted off your shoulders of not having to constantly worry is fantastic. It has been a liberating experience and will definitely never come back to South Africa - it ruins people.

That's correct. I have a friend who is in the exact same situation. Has to wait until his son is twelve years old. How things have changed. When my mother took me to the UK back in 2001, I was not 12. Yet we were allowed to travel.

And then people get 20 years for fraud and 6 years for murder. Go figure
