Hiking Backpack Needed

Hi guys,

We are going on a hike in Clarens in early December, and I need a good hiking pack at a good price.

Does anyone know of a good hiking forum where people maybe sell used hiking equipment, or where one can find affordable hiking packs?

How long is the hike in terms of distance? Is it an over-night hike?

Its a 2-night hike. So probably won't require the biggest backpack, but would like something that will be useful for future hike as well

I use a 75 Litre K-Way for anything more than 1 night, and a 30 Litre for day hikes or 1 night hikes.

Not sure where you can find 2nd hand kit.

But Cape-Union Mart has some great specials, from time to time they have good specials online - and their warranty and guarantee is excellent.

Black Friday is 24 November I think. I have an 60 liter backpack that I have used on 5 day trips and that size was big enough for me. I think the sweetspot in terms of size is 65 liters.
