Anyone here had one?

Thoughts on it please?

Any recommendations on which Doc to use in CT?

I had one on a knee. It's not very invasive, I had 3 small incisions with 2 stiches in each. Sure this will be the same on the hip?

yeah 3 incisions also. I heard recovery takes 2 weeks or so.

But my op requires some of the bone to be shaved as it is impacting on the hip socket

I was in and out the same day. Had my cross ligaments worked on as they had to tighten them. But that was a knee though, I'm sure a hip is a completely other barrel of fish. Be strong and good luck :)

Dont kid yourself..... its not all plain sailing.

The op - easy. in and out in 2 days.

Recovery - well 8 months, with Xycam (generic of Celebrex) ... Celebrex easier on the stomach but more expensive.

I had a bone shaved in September .... and its killing me, but its getting better .... apparently I will be good to go at some time in the future .....
